Adopting heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint Cool-Sarm! Temporary housing roofs in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.

Cool in the heat, warm in the cold. Case studies of the heat-insulating paint CoolSarm.

At Ootaka Trading Company, as part of the disaster recovery support project for the Great East Japan Earthquake in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, we applied "Cool Roof" to the roofs of all temporary housing (18,000m2). Compared to uncoated temperatures, it is not significantly affected by outside temperatures and maintains a stable temperature. During hot summers, it suppresses temperature rise, and in cold winters, it is less likely to transfer heat to the outside, demonstrating the heat insulation and heat shielding properties of "Cool Roof" through measurement results. [Case Study] ■ Sato no Mori Emergency Temporary Housing (Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture) ■ Temporary Housing Roof: 18,000m2 ■ August 2011 *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
